In order to find the best of the best in forex trading robots, the Forex Robot World Cup (FRWC) was created.  This was literally an open competition to the world that called for all expert advisor creators to submit their best robot to see how it matched up against all others in a live trading competition.  The rules were strict, and everything was tracked on their homepage from day one of the competition so that spectators could see which was earning the most from day to day.

The competition was rolled out in two phases:

Stage 1: The EA Submission Phase

Formally started on September 20th, 2009 and lasted until November 25th, 2009 (67 days).  Over 300 EA developers from every corner of the globe submitted their EAs during this phase in order to qualify for the live trading phase and be eligible to win one of the Forex Robot World Cup cash prizes, the first prize being US $100,000.

Now, this is something you truly need to understand – it is KEY: EAs submitted during this phase had to comply with the FRWC’s rules which are the toughest ever created, in order to qualify for the live trading phase. How tough are our submission and qualification rules? Well, you can judge for yourself by going here http://www.forexrobotworldcupreview.org/forex-world-cup-rules/

Why are the rules so tough?

Simply because that is what is needed in order to find a true winner in terms of long-term profitable performance. And THAT is why the winning robots of the Forex Robot World Cup are in a league of their own.  They not only passed a tough pre-screening, they are also proving themselves during 2 whole months of live, real-money trading.

Stage 2: The Live Trading Phase

From the 329 robots submitted in phase 1, 24 adhered to the FRWC’s rules and moved on to phase 2, the live trading phase which started on December 1st, 2009 and ended on January 29th, 2010 (2 months of live trading). All robots were placed on $1,000 real-money live accounts funded by the FRWC.

From the very beginning of the live trading phase, results, rankings, and account statements have been updated in real-time every 15 minutes. You can see the official rankings table below:

The FRWC’s primary objective throughout the competition and its various processes/stages was to be 100% transparent. Nothing held back and spectators could view real time results on a daily basis.

That is the difference between this competition and every other robot vendor… Unlike the conventional FX robot vendors that you are used to seeing, the FRWC was NOT the ones who decided which robot was good and which were not, that was the job of the competition – something which everyone can be (and many are!) a spectator of.

Now, on February 16, the Forex Robot World Cup will be releasing their FRWC Royal Trader which contains 3 of the best EAs from the competition in addition to the FRWC’s own Hybrid forex robot (Fusion-V 1.1a Bot) that is composed of the top 5 trading robot’s strategies and gained over 345% in 19 days.  Also included in the Royal Trader is access to the private members area, special broker bonuses, and Installation & Operation Education and Assistance.
